The new Accord has two engines to choose from. The 1.5L turbocharged engine has a continuously variable transmission (CVT) with fuel consumption of 8.1 L / 100 km in the city and 6.4 L / 100 km on highways. It has 192 horsepower and 192 lb-ft of torque. The other engine is a hybrid 2.0L engine that comes with e-CVT and consumption rates of 5.0 L / 100 km in the city and 5.7 L / 100 km on highways. It delivers 181 horsepower and 247 lb-ft of torque capacity.

The Altima has only one engine, with fuel efficiency rates varying slightly across AWD and FWD models. The basic model takes 9.1 L / 100 km in the city and 6.5 L / 100 km on highways, while upper models enjoy 9.3 L / 100 km and 6.7 L / 100 km, respectively. This engine provides 182 horsepower and 178 lb-ft of torque.

The Accord has fabric surfaces as standard. The Sport trim has exclusive fabric surfaces, and the Touring Hybrid trim has leather surfaces. Heated front seats, foldable rear seats, and driver’s seats with power adjustments are standard across the lineup.

The Altima offers cloth and leather upholsteries, with a Sport interior design option. The base model has manual air conditioning, while other models have a dual-zone air conditioning system. Similar to the Accord, heated front seats are standard across the lineup.

All Accords have a one-touch moonroof as standard. In contrast, this feature isn’t available for Altima’s base model. Both lineups have LED headlights, but the Accord also has LED taillights, brake lights, front turn indicators, and daylight running lights. Rear spoilers are standard for all Altimas above the base model and on Honda’s Sport Hybrid model.
